The site covers an area of around 50,000 square meters and includes a permanent automobile exhibition, the Michael Schumacher Private Collection, a hotel, and various event spaces.

Visitors can explore the history of aviation and motorization, with a focus on the cathedral city, through the mostly freely accessible exhibitions. Guided tours are available for those who wish to deepen their knowledge on the subject. The Motorworld Group is the sponsor of the site.

The Butzweilerhof is a lively meeting place for car enthusiasts all year round. The Motorworld offers unusual vehicles of all kinds, from classic cars to youngtimers, rarities, modern luxury cars to bikes. Visitors can also find specialized workshops, high-quality accessory stores, and varied gastronomic establishments. Glass boxes are available for storing and presenting automotive treasures.

The multifunctional event location opened in June 2018 offers various conference and meeting rooms, a historically-listed lobby, and a unique 4-stroke hangar for up to 4,000 guests. The over one-hundred year old building combined with modern elements provides an architectural interplay that complements different events like business events, concerts, trade fairs, gala dances, seminars or work shops.
