Ngahtatgyi Buddha Temple, Yangon
Ngahtatgyi Buddha Temple is a Buddhist temple featuring a unique five-tiered pagoda. The original 20.5-foot (6.2 m) high Buddha image, donated by Prince Minyedeippa in 1558, is housed here. In 1900, a larger Buddha statue measuring 45.5 feet (13.9 m) tall, set on a 30-foot (9.1 m) high and 46-foot (14 m) wide pedestal, was added to the temple.
