Oasis Waterpark, Palm Springs
Originally opened in 1986 as Oasis Water Park by Waterpark Associates, this desert oasis quickly became a major draw in Palm Springs, eventually spreading across 16 acres and hosting 20 attractions. By 2001, it was pulling in around 200,000 visitors each season. That same year, Cedar Fair acquired the park, rebranding it Knott’s Oasis Water Park.
In 2013, Cedar Fair passed the torch to CNL Lifestyle Properties, which acquired the park along with rights to the Wet’n’Wild brand from Village Roadshow Theme Parks. By 2014, the Palm Springs park was reborn once again as Wet’n’Wild Palm Springs.
Today, the reimagined park is one of the largest aquaparks in the U.S., offering everything from adrenaline-pumping slides to tranquil spa zones. With five pools, jacuzzis, spa areas, and an anti-slip Dutch floor coating that practically catches you mid-stumble, it’s built for all-day fun and worry-free relaxation.
This is not just a place for kids-adults will find just as much joy soaking in the whirlpools, lounging in comfort, or exploring multiple sauna styles including Russian, Finnish, infrared, and Turkish hammam. Water quality is strictly monitored every 3 hours in a professional lab, and the park’s shiny-clean reputation is maintained by a tireless cleaning crew. Lifeguards and instructors are always on duty to keep things safe.
Whether you're in it for the thrill of the slides or the serenity of the spa, Oasis Waterpark (Wet’n’Wild Palm Springs) delivers a full-spectrum splash experience that’s as polished as it is playful.
