Originally, a group of water-loving kids formed a powerful surf club, which later evolved into the prestigious Ocean Experience Surf Camp in 1990. A decade later, Ocean Beach Surf and Skate became a prominent school and hub, remaining dedicated to its mission of providing equal opportunities for everyone to enjoy surfing and discover its fascinating history.

With an impressive 33-year history, Ocean Beach Surf and Skate has empowered tens of thousands of individuals with the knowledge and equipment they need to enjoy surfing throughout their lives. They have also organized numerous fundraisers for local schools, expanded their educational reach to include Baja through Baja Experience Tours, and established the Peninsula Surf Club.

Since 2010, Ocean Beach Surf and Skate has proudly hosted the annual Skate For the Kids Fundraiser for Ocean Beach Elementary. This event has raised tens of thousands of dollars, which are used to keep the students active and involved in the community.

Ocean Beach Surf and Skate truly understand the essence of the Southern California lifestyle while catering to the essential needs of surfers and skateboarders.
