Orthodox Church of the Holy Annunciation, Tirana

The Orthodox Church of the Holy Annunciation in Tirana represents resilience and spiritual strength in the heart of the country's capital. The communist government's strict policy on religion led to its closure, and it was then repurposed as the Tirana Sports Club for over two decades, until 1990.
