Parque Lomas de Versalles ("Hills of Versailles" Park), San Salvador

Tucked away in one of San Salvador’s residential corners, this peaceful park is one of the few remaining pockets of nature and calm in the city. Spanning just about two acres, it’s a quiet, green space perfect for a relaxed walk, some fresh air, or simply enjoying the view-it offers a surprisingly lovely vantage point over the city.

It’s also a great spot for a laid-back picnic, so if you’re passing through, consider packing lunch and soaking in the atmosphere. The surrounding area is known for its calm and is home to a couple of notable religious spaces, including the Seventh-day Adventist Church and the Church of God of Prophecy, both just a short stroll away.
