Two names have been delighting chocolate lovers for generations: Purdy's and Rogers' Chocolates. You'll find Purdy's in shopping malls throughout Metro Vancouver, but if you're after a taste of history, Rogers' is hard to beat.

The story begins in 1903, when Charles "Candy" Rogers started making chocolates in the back room of his little shop in Victoria. More than a century later, the company is still crafting chocolates using many of its original recipes, including the famous Victoria Cream. Today, there are 11 Rogers' boutiques across British Columbia, making it easy to bring home a box—or simply treat yourself to a single piece.

Prices are in the range of specialty chocolates and can be as little as $2.00 per piece or up to $60.00 for a large variety box.
