Santuario de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe (Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe) is a prominent religious building dedicated to Our Lady of Guadalupe. Its construction began in 1777 and was completed after 4 years. This Catholic religious building reflects the churrigueresco and neoclassical styles. Among its highlights you will find beautiful murals and marble columns. Inside the building you will see 28 oil paintings and carved and gilded golden altars. The main altar dates back to 1779 and was created by Don José de Alcíbar. It depicts Our Lady of Guadalupe and is topped with a rich golden crown.
