Tulsa Garden Center, Tulsa

Located in the heart of Woodward Park, the Tulsa Garden Center is a nonprofit hub for horticultural and environmental education in Tulsa. Housed in the historic Snedden Mansion, the Center offers a rich lineup of lectures, workshops, training sessions, plant shows, and special events-all aimed at promoting gardening knowledge and environmental awareness. Many of these programs are free for members, making it a welcoming space for learners of all levels.

The Center also supports 16 affiliated plant societies, including groups like the Tulsa Rose Society, Sierra Club, and Oklahoma Mycological Society, which host additional programs and community events throughout the year. Whether you're a novice plant lover or an expert naturalist, there's always something in bloom-figuratively and literally.

A highlight of the Garden Center is the Snedden Mansion itself, a preserved architectural gem. Visitors can stroll through rooms adorned with ornate wood carvings, gold leaf ceilings, and dramatic marble floors, while also viewing vintage photographs that trace the mansion’s elegant past.

Together, the Tulsa Garden Center and its historic home offer not just a place to learn, but a place to connect-with nature, with history, and with a vibrant local community.
