A Guide to Prague's Concert Venues, Prague, Czech Republic
When I’m not traveling, I’m going to concerts… or traveling to go to concerts. Having lived the better part of the last decade in Prague, I’ve been to almost every venue from the sprawling grounds of Letňany Airport to the basement of Café v lese. Here are some of Prague’s most storied music venues.
Forum Karlin is Prague’s best mid-size venue and it regularly brings some big names like The XX, Queens of the Stone Age, and the Smashing Pumpkins. Forum looks like an open warehouse with two balconies that wrap around the venue. The rail on the balconies tends to be the first places to fill up along with the floor in front of stage. The best part about the venue is that, in addition to two large bars the rear end, there are a handful of drink stands on either side of the hall so you can get a refill without leaving the floor. If you’re a casual fan, you can hang back by the bar area and still see and hear the show perfectly.
The O2 Arena is where most big international acts come to play. It’s welcomed Dua Lipa, Billie Eilish, Pitbull, and Lenny Kravitz - and that’s just in 2025. It’s a large modern venue with four levels of seating in addition to the large floor area. There are plenty of bars with food and drink on every floor, so the lines tend to be manageable, even for sold-out shows. For its balance of comfort and production value, the O2 is one of the best venues in Prague. ...... (follow the instructions below for accessing the rest of this article).
