Seville to Cadiz daytrip is very popular, especially during hot summers in Andalusia. When temperatures in the region reach 100 F or higher in July and August, locals head down to cool off at one of the Cadiz beaches.

Cadiz is easily reachable by train. Renfe trains run multiple times a day. Since my base was Sevilla ( more here ), I took a morning train from Santa Justa station. The journey takes nearly 2 hours . If you are planning to visit on a weekend in the summer, it’s a good idea to pre-book your ticket online.
