L’Ametlla de Mar Spain European Trip, L`Ametlla de Mar, Spain

The lovely L’Ametlla de Mar, Costa Dorada, is a charming coastal town located in the province of Tarragona, Spain. A 30-minute drive South of Salou. We arrived and parked in the harbour car park, which was free of charge. There are a few car parks around the town. From here we walked around the fishing harbour and then along the coastal path South. We didn’t do a massive walk, turning around after about 35 minutes in the direction of town.

Firstly, the town is known for its beautiful beaches. From the serene Cala Pepo to the bustling Alghero beach, L’Ametlla de Mar has something for everyone. Visitors can indulge in various water activities, including snorkelling and diving, to explore the stunning underwater world. Additionally, the town has a rich cultural heritage that visitors can discover by visiting the Sant Joan Baptista Church or the Castle of Sant Jordi.
