I asked ChatGPT for a good Instagram caption and she (yes it’s a woman to me, get over it) literally said: “Stockholm syndrome? More like Stockholm adore-drome!” and I really don’t know how to feel about this lol. (Maybe a man afterall.)

Anyway, how beautiful is Stockholm? Like I don’t even know where to start. It’s such a calm, clean and beautiful city with kind people. It’s a little expensive and the sun setting at 3:30pm doesn’t really help with my winter depressions but there is nothing a cinnamon bun can’t fix.

So my Mom and I originally booked direct flights from Düsseldorf to Stockholm from Friday morning until Monday noon but of course Eurowings had to cancel our flight for Friday. So instead we paid 180€ for a flight at 4:30pm on Friday with a three-hour layover in Hamburg. How unnecessary is a flight from Düsseldorf to Hamburg, I couldn’t even tell you. Buuuut on the bright side, we saw one of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen. (Until we got to Stockholm.)
