The City of Love and Aperol Spritz, Venice, Verona, Italy

Buongiorno – I’m just kidding. Italian is sadly not a language I speak. However Italy has always been on my non-existing bucket list since forever. I did visit once as a kid but only South Tyrol to go skiing – yes I do know how posh that sounds lol. But now we had three days off work and the flights to Verona were just to perfect to not book them. So of course we had to do it! Here is how it went.

We made a promise this year to not book 4am flights anymore lol and honestly the times for Verona were just perfect. Sunday we flew to Italy around 1pm and back on Wednesday around the same time which gave us three whole days! With 128€ in total per person the price was also totally fine, plus we booked like a week before so super spontaneously. The transportation from the airport to the main station in the city was via bus called “Verona Airlink” or “Aerobus 199” and it’s honestly super easy! It only takes 15 minutes and costs 7€ per ticket. We then had to take another bus to our place cause we didn’t want to walk 40 minutes lol but the main station was super organized and this ticket only costs around 1.50€. (We think.
