What to see in Budapest in three days is a question with no easy answer. Indeed, Budapest is a city with many spectacular monuments, but not only that. Budapest offers various possibilities to get away from the daily grind (Budapest’s thermal baths are among the most famous in the world, although they are definitely not among my favorites) and a nightlife not to be underestimated (there is no shortage of choice: from restaurants to breweries, from old pubs to clubs).
Budapest deserves a vacation of at least three days and three nights. In fact, it is a city that deserves to be fully experienced!
Budapest’s main monument is undoubtedly the Parliament. Built in just 17 years (starting in 1885, so it is a relatively recent structure), the Parliament is enormous in size. Its length exceeds 250 meters: there are nearly 700 rooms inside. The Parliament is wonderful both from the outside and from the inside. The guided tour (self-guided or guided) lasts 45 minutes and must be booked on the official website (I recommend booking it in advance: it costs about 18 euros).
