Experience the large herring school zooming past, and watch the seals shout excitedly when they are fed. And definitely bring the kids! This small aquarium has a good collection of marine life from the Baltic and North Seas.

Various animal species from the North Sea, the Baltic Sea, the Mediterranean and the tropics live on 350 m² of exhibition space. Our seal group entertains visitors in the freely accessible outdoor enclosure. Special highlights are the feedings, where our seals also like to show some tricks... With more than 80.000 visitors per year our aquarium GEOMAR is one of the tourist attractions of the Schleswig-Holstein state capital.
