Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art, Las Vegas

Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art, Las Vegas

Situated within the renowned Bellagio Resort along the illustrious Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada, the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art stands as an exquisite venue showcasing artistic masterpieces. Its doors were first unveiled to the public on October 15, 1998, coinciding with the grand opening of the entire property. This esteemed gallery, akin to the resort itself, was under the ownership of Mirage Resorts and overseen by the visionary Steve Wynn. Initially, the gallery's collection encompassed artworks owned by the company, supplemented by a selection of personal art pieces on lease from Wynn himself.

However, on May 28, 2000, the gallery temporarily closed its doors due to the merger of Mirage Resorts with MGM Grand Inc., giving rise to MGM Mirage. With this change in ownership, the existing art collection underwent a transition, as it was sold off. Subsequently, on September 1, 2000, the gallery reopened its doors, now transformed into a dynamic space for rotating exhibitions. Over the years, it has welcomed captivating collections sourced from esteemed partners such as the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego.
