Brickway Brewery & Distillery, Omaha

Brickway Brewery & Distillery is a craft beverage producer located in Omaha's historic Old Market district that opened on December 13, 2013. It operates a taproom, production brewery, and distillery, and is recognized as the first combined brewery and distillery established in Omaha since Prohibition. The business began with a small range of core beers-including a pilsner, hefeweizen, India pale lager, and oatmeal stout-before expanding to include dozens of beers and distilled spirits.

Its current beer selection features year-round staples such as Omaha Stylee IPA and Jalapeno Pineapple Pilsner, alongside seasonal lagers, wheat beers, stouts, and experimental releases. The distillery produces 13 distinct spirits, including award-winning whiskies such as its American Single Malt and Sherry Cask Aged Whisky, plus bourbon, vodka, rum, gin, moonshine, and flavored spirits. Brickway is Nebraska's most decorated distillery, earning nearly 30 national medals for its products. The taproom serves its own beverages, cocktails, and sushi from Foxy Sushi, whose menu changes over time. Brickway also hosts scheduled behind-the-scenes tours and private tastings. Led by a brand ambassador, these visits explain brewing and distilling equipment, covering fermentation, distillation, and maturation while highlighting differences between beer and spirit production.

The venue contains dedicated spaces for private gatherings and selected public events. As an operating production facility and adult-oriented taproom, access to tastings and alcoholic beverages requires guests to meet applicable legal drinking age requirements.
