Destille, Munster

The Destille is a traditional pub and a former jazz club, located on the Kuhstraße. It was founded in 1966 by Josef Lackhoff as a "Union Tavern". During 1980s, such famous artists as Champion Jack Dupree, Bob Lanese, Katie Webster, Bill Ramsey, Benny Bailey, Pete York and Götz Alsmann used to perform at Destille. Nowadays, this place has turned into a trendy pub, popular with students and young people.
