Galerie bei der Albertina, Vienna

Established in 1973 by Christa Zetter, the Galerie bei der Albertina is dedicated to Austrian art from the 20th and 21st centuries, spanning a wide range from fine to applied art.

Since its inception, the gallery has consistently expanded and diversified its collection, making it a prominent destination for Austrian art from the 20th and 21st centuries. They showcase exceptional paintings, drawings, sculptures, and design objects created by renowned artists.

Situated in the heart of Vienna's historic city center, in close proximity to the renowned Vienna Opera and the Albertina Museum, the Galerie bei der Albertina occupies inviting exhibition spaces spread across three floors. The gallery has a strong emphasis on Art Nouveau and the Vienna Werkstätte, presenting high-quality exhibits.

Additionally, the gallery features selected works from the Austrian Classical Modernist era and embraces contemporary art within its portfolio. The collection includes works by celebrated artists such as Gustav Klimt, Oskar Kokoschka, Egon Schiele, Emil Nolde, Friedensreich Hundertwasser, Kiki Kogelnik, Joannis Avramidis, Maria Lassnig, Max Weiler, Wilhelm Nicolaus Prachensky, Markus Prachensky, and Gunter Damisch.
