Hansa Shopping Center, Malmo

Hansa is a mall at Stora Nygatan in central Malmö . Hansa is located in the same place as Malmö Yllefabrik's old textile factory Doffeln . In 1963 , Nordiska Kompaniet opened a branch in the new premises designed by Malmö architect Thorsten Roos at the Malmö office, now Hultin & Lundquist Arkitekter. The building was built and owned by the current Skanska .

NK ceased its operations in Malmö in 1991 and after rebuilding, Hansacompagniet opened in 1992 as a mall with about 40 stores .

In 2003 , a footbridge was built over Malmborgsgatan to the neighboring property that housed Citygallerian , which was already owned by Briggen. Citygallerian changed its name to Hansagallerian and since 2003 Hansacompagniet and Hansagallerian form a mall with the name Hansa.

At Hansa, the stores COS, & Other Stories, Spirit Stores, Odd Molly, HOPE, Gant, Boomerang, Lexington, Monki, MQ, Systembolaget with wine cellar, Apoteket , Weekday and Espresso House are represented. In Hansa there is also a parking garage on three levels with entrance from Malmborgsgatan.
