ION Orchard, previously referred to as the Orchard Turn Development or Orchard Turn Site, stands as a prominent shopping complex. It constitutes the retail segment of a mixed-use development project undertaken by Orchard Turn Developments Pte Ltd. Its operational debut occurred on July 21, 2009, housing a total of 335 eateries and retail stores. In December 2016, ION Orchard received recognition from Forbes as one of Singapore's premier shopping destinations.
Spanning an expansive lettable area of nearly 660,000 square feet, ION Orchard presently accommodates approximately 400 retail establishments. Among these, several flagship stores like Rubi Shoes, New Look, Li Ning, T.M. Lewin, Zara, Harry Winston, Dsquared2, and Bershka are featured.
In addition to these, there are four multi-label stores and a variety of new-to-market dining options, complemented by established food vendors. The complex boasts a food court known as the Food Opera.
Over 21% of the lettable area is allocated for dining purposes, with 60 of the 125 dining outlets introducing new concepts or being new to the market. There are 28 restaurants and cafes, with the majority located on level 4 for fine dining and levels 2 and 3 for casual dining.
