Kong, Paris

A quirky yet sophisticated Paris nightspot, Kong is a manga-inspired cocktail lounge and restaurant. Mixing old world designs, like the Louis XVI barstools and tufted sofas, and modern Japanese graffiti art, distinctive design elements include a variety of Hello Kitty items sprinkled throughout the space, eye-catching art prints on the walls, and video screens playing anime. The top level features a unique glass dome design that allows for a panoramic view of the surrounding area, including the Seine, Pont Neuf, and other great examples of historic Parisian architecture. Entertainment is innovatively implemented by a special system that allows guests to vote on the musical style that will be played for the evening.
