In 1249, the construction of the tomb and mosque dedicated to Akhi Yusuf took place, solidifying his significance in the hearts of the people.

During the 14th century, the renowned traveler Ibn Batuta embarked on his journeys and arrived in Antalya. Intrigued by the Akhis' way of life and their camaraderie, he documented his experiences and marveled at the auspicious work carried out by the Akhis. Ibn Batuta acknowledged that the Akhis' endeavors were truly extraordinary and unlike anything he had ever witnessed before.

The Masjid of Akhi Yusuf is an ancient monument that holds historical and cultural significance. Situated south of the mosque, the tomb of Akhi Yusuf commands reverence and respect. Visitors approach the tomb through an entrance located on the north side of the mosque, creating a symbolic passage into the realm of spirituality and remembrance.

Nestled near the east wall of this revered monument in Antalya, one can find a small fountain. This fountain serves as a reminder of the importance of water in Islamic tradition, symbolizing purity and spiritual cleansing.
