Strayer University, Arlington

Strayer University is a private, for-profit university focused largely on career-oriented education for working adults. Founded in 1892 by Dr. Siebert Irving Strayer as Strayer’s Business College, it initially taught practical subjects such as bookkeeping, typing, and shorthand.
