It has also achieved distinction for its national research programs, with a focus on fostering creativity, intellectual development, and leadership. Notably, the university was elected to the Association of American Universities in 1966 but withdrew in 2011 due to differing views on academic evaluation standards.

With its rich history, diverse academic offerings, and thriving campus culture, Syracuse University provides an environment where students are encouraged to grow, cheer, and become the best versions of themselves.
