Taipei Children's Amusement Park, Taipei

The Taipei Children's Amusement Park, located in Shilin District, Taipei, stands as the largest publicly run amusement park in Taiwan. This site was once known as the Taipei Children's Recreation Center, a historically significant playground. In a noteworthy turn of events, on April 11, 2006, the area earned recognition as a national archaeological site.

Subsequently, in October 2007, the Taipei City Government launched an initiative to transform the site into a new children's park. Finally, after these developments, the park was officially opened to the public on December 16, 2014.

The park occupies a substantial 5-hectare area, organized into three primary zones: Fantasy Forest and Dream Ocean, Magic Planet, and Toy Soldier Kingdom. It features an array of 13 rides, which include exciting attractions like the brand-new Ferris Wheel, Bumper Cars, Ocean Carousel (a musical carriage), Dancing Fly (a dragon boat ride), Wave Swinger, Monorail, Spinning Tea Cups, Roller Coaster, Crazy Bus, Drop Tower, Pirate Ship, Telecombat, and Spinning Chairs.

In addition to the rides, visitors can explore a variety of 20 stores spread throughout the park, offering options ranging from a food court to convenience stores and souvenir shops. Moreover, the park is equipped with an indoor parking facility for both cars and scooters, as well as an indoor play area designed for families. This indoor playground features buoy balls and slot machines, ensuring that visitors can enjoy themselves at the amusement park regardless of the weather.
