With entrances from Paul Street and Daunt Square, The Woodford, possessing entrances from both Paul Street and Daunt Square, is located inside a building dating back to the middle of the 18th century when it housed the Woodford Bourne & Company, a well-known wine merchant in the day. The Woodford nowadays offers an extensive winelist for guests to choose from, as well as an assortment of beer, cocktails, and local foods made fresh daily. The Woodford succeeds at bringing a homey and relaxed atmosphere for patrons to enjoy a good time with friends over a pint or a glass of wine. Rustic wooden furniture, mismatched chairs and sofas add to this intimate bar’s atmosphere which features live DJs spinning tunes late into the night on Fridays and Saturdays.
