Three Lions Fountain, Jacksonville

Three Lions Fountain, Jacksonville

Situated in the center of the historic San Marco Square, the Three Lions Fountain, also known as San Marco Lion Statue, is a beloved local landmark and frequent meeting spot for both residents and visitors.

Installed in the 1990s to replace the original compass fountain, the statue draws inspiration from Venice’s Piazza San Marco, reflecting the area’s Italian-influenced character. The sculpture features three lions stacked atop one another.

Encircled by a pedestrian walkway and framed by cafés, restaurants, and shops, the fountain serves as a focal point in one of Jacksonville’s most vibrant districts.
