Founded in 2012 by Indrė Jovaišaitė-Blaževičienė and Povilas Blaževičius, who share a passion for toys and games, the museum invites visitors to play with toy replicas, participate in workshops, listen to fairytales, and engage in discussions and conversations with professional educators.
The museum showcases ancient games and toys with archeological and ethnographic significance, enabling visitors to trace the evolution of each object. The exhibition is based on in-depth research into archaeological toys dating from the 12th to 19th centuries. Additionally, the museum holds a collection of toys mass-produced in Lithuania since the 20th century.
Visitors can discover Lithuanian history from the Stone Age until Soviet times through toys. The museum takes visitors on a journey through time, providing an immersive experience that allows them to experience the entire history of Lithuania through the toys and games that were popular in each era.
