Buongiorno everyone! I just returned from an amazing trip to Italy. I was not supposed to go solo, but that is how it worked out. A friend and I planned it together, and at last minute she could not make the trip.

No one from my family could swing the cost on short notice either. I decided to put on my big girl pants and be brave. I'm not gonna lie , I was very scared and almost backed out. There are no words for the awe you experience after setting eyes on the Duomo. As you can see the architecture is so stunning. Equally amazing is the history behind this timeless structure. I had to pinch myself - it seemed like a dream to be standing in front of it.
