Big Garden Corner, Denpasar

Big Garden Corner opened in June 2016 as a modern stone-art gallery and recreational park rather than a historic site. It combines garden landscaping, sculpture displays, family facilities, and photo-oriented installations in one open-air setting. The park is known for its large statues, including a massive Sleeping Ganesha figure that serves as one of its main centrepieces, though its exact length is not officially confirmed.

The grounds are arranged for casual wandering, with shaded paths, green areas, small bridges, ornamental corners, and colourful art pieces. Visitors will see Balinese-inspired carvings, Buddha figures, giant faces, standing stones, and a miniature Borobudur temple replica. The artistic style mixes traditional motifs, including Barong and Rangda, with recycled art, such as elephant sculptures made from used cans.

For tourists, Big Garden Corner works best as a relaxed family stop rather than a formal cultural monument. Children can enjoy the playground, water-play area, butterfly park, and treehouse, while adults often come for the sculptures, garden views, and staged photo spots.
