Caixa Cultural, Recife
Caixa Cultural opened in May 2012 and has quickly established itself as a prominent arts and culture center in the city. It's located in the Arnaldo Dubeux building, a restored 19th-century structure on the edge of Marco Zero square in Old Recife. This building, once home to the Pernambuco and Paraiba Stock Exchange and several banks, now houses a vibrant cultural space.
The center is known for its dynamic range of exhibitions and events, which are well-attended by the local community. With a schedule that includes workshops, lectures, and shows for both adults and children, it's become a key cultural hub in the city. The building is especially striking in the evenings, thanks to its multicolored LED lighting.
