Değirmen Çiftlik (Mill Park), Kusadasi

Mill Park is an eco-agricultural retreat, founded in 1995. It grew from a working organic farm into a day-visit destination that combines nature, food, and gentle recreation. The project promotes a “local, diverse, land-first” philosophy, producing much of what it serves and selling under the Yerlim label.

The park is like a small countryside estate: shaded paths, a pond with wooden terraces, and enclosures where visitors can see farm animals. Horseback riding is part of the experience; pony and horse sessions typically run late morning and again from late afternoon toward sunset. Families often pair a circuit of the grounds with time by the lake, crossing small bridges to waterside seating.

The on-site Ekin A La Carte Restaurant focuses on Aegean flavors and grilled meats, alongside a few classics from Ottoman and İstanbul court cuisine-traditional plates prepared with seasonal produce. Other corners of the park handle breakfast, gözleme, and tea breaks, so you can drop in for a full meal or something simple outdoors. Much of the kitchen’s pantry is supplied by the farm itself, reinforcing the “from-the-land” ethos visitors come for.

Beyond the tables, the agricultural side is visible in its farm shop and its award-winning olive oils bottled under the Yerlim brand. The wider complex also references olive culture through the Oleatrium-an olive and olive-oil museum connected with the site.
