High Noon Saloon, Madison
The High Noon Saloon is one of Madison’s beloved live music venues. First opening its doors on May 5, 2004, it rised from the legacy of the legendary O’Cayz Corral, which tragically burned in 2001. Founded by Cathy Dethmers, a musician and longtime Madison music promoter, the venue became an essential part of the city’s thriving music scene.
High Noon offers an eclectic mix of musical performances seven nights a week, covering genres such as rock, indie, punk, alt-country, bluegrass, folk, hip-hop, and world music. It hosts everything from rising national acts to local bands in an intimate setting with general admission for up to 250 people.
The venue features two connected levels, two full-service bars, a hardwood dance floor, and a raised stage enhanced by professional lighting and sound systems that draw praise for quality and vibe. Guests can also enjoy bar games and snack offerings like Glass Nickel pizza by the slice. In warmer months, the spacious outdoor patio opens for additional performances and cocktail service.
