Long Beach Museum of Art was established in 1950 and can be found on East Ocean Boulevard. The museum is housed in a historic Elizabeth Milbank Anderson house, dating to 1912. This cultural venue enjoys a permanent collection, where you will find American decorative arts objects, early 20th century European art and modern art of California. The museum is open Thursday: 11 am – 8 pm and Friday – Sunday: 11 am – 5 pm. The Museum also offers a wide range of educational programs, musical programs, festivals and other special events.
