Lowry Park Zoo, now known as ZooTampa at Lowry Park, is a popular zoological garden located in Tampa. Established in 1957, the zoo spans over 63 acres of land and houses more than 1,300 animals from various species, including endangered and threatened ones. It is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) and has won several awards for its conservation efforts and innovative animal exhibits.

In addition to showcasing wildlife, ZooTampa at Lowry Park also offers interactive educational programs, recreational activities, and seasonal events for visitors of all ages. The zoo is considered one of the top attractions in Tampa Bay, drawing millions of visitors each year.

In 2009, Lowry Park Zoo was voted the #1 Family Friendly Zoo in the US by Parents Magazine and is recognized by the State of Florida as the center for Florida wildlife conservation and biodiversity.
