Renovated in 2005, Barcelona's science museum offers an even more engaging and interactive experience compared to its popular predecessor, which was located in the existing 'modernista' building. Housed in a modern glass-and-steel structure, the museum spans nine floors, six of which are situated underground. Here, visitors can participate in hands-on experiments and explore displays that delve into the wonders of life, the universe, and everything in between.

Two major highlights of the museum are the captivating 'Geological Wall', showcasing various types of rocks formed through different geological processes, and the extraordinary 'Bosc Inundat', a sprawling thousand-square-meter section replicating the Amazon rainforest, complete with crocodile-filled mangroves, anacondas, giant catfish, and more.

Additional attractions include the 'Matter Room', which explores the concept of the Big Bang theory, 'Tecnorevolució' – an interactive exploration of cutting-edge technological and scientific advancements like nano-technology and robot eyes, and a 3D-planetarium.
