Parc Andre Citroen (Andre Citroen Park), Paris

With its inauguration in 1992, this park is situated on the former site of the Citroën factory in Paris, spans 14 hectares, and stands as one of the capital's most recent green spaces. Designed by renowned landscapers and architects such as Alain Provost and Gilles Clément, the futuristic creation offers a magnificent view of the Seine, being the only Parisian green area directly open to the river. It is divided into three themed sections: the White Garden, the Black Garden, and a vast central park.

Visitors can explore two greenhouse pavilions (hosting exotic plants and Mediterranean vegetation) and a monumental canal - the "Jardin des Métamorphoses" - composed of an elevated reflecting pool, perfect for reflection and relaxation, which is lined by a suspended walkway. Among other surprises are the six serial gardens - each associated with a metal, a planet, a day of the week, a state of the water and a sense!

Overall, the park's amenities provide ample opportunities for relaxation and entertainment. Children can revel in a dedicated ball play area, ping-pong tables, spring games, and slides.

And let's not forget the iconic tethered gas balloon, known as the "Ballon de Paris", which allows both young and old to ascend 150 meters in height (weather permitting), thus providing a different perspective of the city.
