Passage de Retz, Paris

Passage de Retz, Paris

Passage de Retz, situated in the Marais district of Paris, is a contemporary art venue housed within the prestigious Hôtel de Retz. Spanning an expansive 750 square meters, it serves as a platform for temporary exhibitions. The site underwent renovations from 1989 to 1994, with architects and designers François and Sylvain Dubuisson carefully crafting the exhibition spaces.

Embracing the realm of contemporary creation, Passage de Retz showcases both group and solo exhibitions. Its interior walkway and glass roofs create an atmosphere of luminosity and elegance, perfectly suited for the display of contemporary paintings, photography, and sculptures.

Since 2017, the Tornabuoni Art Gallery has made its home here, curating exhibitions of international contemporary art, with a particular emphasis on the medium of painting.
