Stars Antiques Malls, Portland

Stars Antiques Malls consists of two large vintage centres located directly opposite each other. The original Stars Antiques Mall opened in 1990, followed by Stars & Splendid Antiques Mall in 1993. Together, the two shops host more than 200 independent dealers. A former third branch, More Stars Antiques Mall, has closed as a separate location, with its dealers incorporated into the two main buildings.

The changing stock covers many periods and interests. Visitors may find antique and mid-century furniture, pottery, glassware, estate jewellery, books, records, toys, tools and vintage advertising. Other booths specialise in retro clothing, kitchenware, Asian decorative objects, sporting goods, postcards and small collectibles. Each dealer creates a distinct display within the malls.

The two buildings are suited to unhurried browsing, with displays ranging from organised room settings to densely filled cabinets of smaller objects. Prices, styles and areas of expertise vary between dealers, offering choices for collectors and visitors searching for an unusual souvenir. Nearby antique shops, cafés and independent businesses make it easy to continue exploring the district.
