Established in 2021, TDF MagnifiScience Centre stands as Pakistan's pioneering contemporary science center, aiming to offer interactive learning experiences for individuals of all ages. With its three-floor layout and the addition of the Science Garden, TDF MagnifiScience Centre provides an extensive platform for exploration and discovery. The center boasts a diverse range of permanent exhibits, experiments, simulations, and educational programs, catering to various interests and levels of scientific curiosity.
Designed by Madiha Ghani of Shahab Ghani and Associates, the Science Centre is a structure boasting seismic resilience and eco-conscious design. Embracing green technology, the building incorporates a solar power system and a wastewater recycling system.
With over 200 exhibits spanning various floors, the centre explores diverse scientific themes relevant to Pakistan. Visitors can delve into Karachi's architectural and cultural heritage, learn about food sources, examine different modes of transportation, and explore topics such as the human body, light, sound, illusions, mathematics, physics, renewable energy, and telecommunications.
