Tooba Mosque, Karachi

Tooba Mosque, also known as Gol Masjid, is one of Karachi's most notable examples of modern Islamic architecture. Construction began in 1966 and the mosque was completed in 1969. It was designed by architect Babar Hamid Chauhan, with structural engineering work associated with Zaheer Haider Naqvi. Built to serve the surrounding Muslim community, the mosque has remained an active place of worship while also attracting visitors interested in its distinctive architectural design.

The mosque is best known for its large white marble dome, which is widely recognized as one of the largest single-shell domes in the world.
