Youth Park, Taipei

Youth Park, Taipei

The Youth Park is a spacious urban park situated in the Taipei metropolitan area, specifically in the western part of the Wanhua District. Bounded by Guoxing Road to the east, Qingnian Road to the west, Shuiyuan Road to the south, and Qingnian Road to the north, the park encompasses an impressive area of 24.44 hectares.

This park features beautiful flowers, trees, and a wide range of sports facilities. You can enjoy amenities like a golf course, swimming pools, tennis courts, and a billiard hall for a fee. There are also free sports facilities like basketball courts, badminton courts, a baseball field, and more. The park offers social and educational resources like a plant nursery, reading room, amphitheater, and a police post for residents and tourists.

The park's beauty lies in its landscaping, green spaces, and diverse plant life. As you enter, you'll be greeted by colorful flowerbeds with various flowers like garden balsam, cockscomb, scarlet sage, Mexican heather, and more. Behind them, you'll find shrubs and additional blossoms, creating a vibrant flower exhibition.

At the heart of the park is a vast lawn surrounded by banyan trees, creating a lush canopy. It resembles a serene forest retreat, with needle-leaved trees around the edge, attracting morning exercisers. A waterway connects to a zigzagged bridge in the east-north, adorned with aquatic plants and fountains. East of the baseball court, mature maple trees form a captivating forest, especially beautiful during fall. Azaleas bloom in spring, adding to the park's charm. The Youth Park boasts well-maintained lawns, flowerbeds, seating, pavilions, foot massage paths, sculptures, and wide walkways, making it a splendid urban park.
