Exchange Square, located in Hong Kong's Central District, is a renowned skyscraper that stands out in the city's iconic skyline. Serving as an office tower, it is the hub for numerous leading international investment banks and financial institutions. Additionally, the Hong Kong Stock Exchange finds its home within this impressive structure. Although not accessible to the public, visitors are captivated by its appealing exterior.
Hong Kong Land predominantly owns the majority of Exchange Square, while the American Club of Hong Kong and the Government possess the remaining portions. The building comprises three distinct blocks: One Exchange Square, Two Exchange Square, and Three Exchange Square. An ongoing redevelopment project, called The Forum, has been underway since December 2011. The existing building will soon make way for a seven-story complex scheduled for completion in 2014.
Moreover, at ground level, one can find the Central (Exchange Square) Bus Terminus, a vast bus terminus accommodating numerous bus routes connecting various areas within Hong Kong.
