Gandhi Statue, Lucknow
In the Sardar Patel Park, not far from the General Post Office Building, there is a monument dedicated to the great leader Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. An arch surrounds this statue with a stairway on each of its four sides. Mahatma Gandhi is portrayed in his usual, modest manner of presenting himself. This monument often becomes the place of official meetings and celebrations.
