Sardar Patel Statue, Lucknow

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was a great man, devoted patriot, loving husband and an incomparable barrister. All his life he dreamed to become a lawyer, but had no money to attend universities. His courage and passion gave him strength to study on his own and he managed to pass all the exams. The statue in his memory is placed in the Sardar Patel Park to bring tribute to his kind personality and all the wonderful things he had done during his life. He helped other people, fought for their freedom and rights, giving them hope for a better future. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel is known in India as the “Man of Steel”.
