Museo de la Ciudad (City Museum), Guadalajara
Situated on Independencia Street, City Museum (Museo de la Ciudad) is housed in an eighteenth century mansion, which originally represented part of the Convent of the Capucina for nuns. The museum is dedicated to Guadalajara's history and displays related exhibits since the sixteenth century to nowadays. Within its 8 rooms you will find old pictures, ethnographical objects, historical documents, maps and other memorabilia. The museum is open Tuesdays to Saturdays from 10:00 till 17:30, and Sundays from 10:00 hours till 17:30.
