Orpheum, Tampa

The Orpheum is a long-running live music and events venue known for concerts ranging from punk, metal, and alternative rock to electronic music and themed dance nights. It has operated for more than two decades and has hosted thousands of performances, including both established touring artists and emerging local acts. Its program also extends beyond concerts to professional wrestling, art shows, charity events, and dance competitions.

The venue spent about 20 years in a historic entertainment district, occupying two different spaces there before leaving in 2022. Its final events at the former location took place in May of that year, followed by a move roughly ten miles north to its present home. This relocation continued the Orpheum name rather than creating an entirely new venue.

The current space keeps the focus on live performance, with a compact stage, standing areas, professional sound equipment, and an atmosphere suited to energetic concerts. Visitors can expect an event-driven experience rather than a traditional theater tour, so the character of the venue changes depending on the band, club night, or special event taking place.
