Pakistan Air Force Museum, Karachi

The Pakistan Air Force Museum offers visitors a glimpse into the history and technology of the Pakistan Air Force. While much of the museum's collection, including aircraft, weapons, and radar, is displayed outdoors in the surrounding park, the main museum showcases a comprehensive array of fighter aircraft utilized by the Pakistan Air Force over the years.

Notable highlights include the Vickers VC.1 Viking aircraft, once used by Mohammed Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan. Another highlight is a Folland Gnat from the Indian Air Force, which made an unexpected landing in Pasroor town during the Indo-Pakistani war of 1965. Visitors can explore scale models of aircraft from World War I, World War II, and more modern eras, along with photo galleries featuring almost all of the Pakistan Air Force's squadrons.

Originally established in 1990 within two unused hangars, the museum has since undergone significant expansion, particularly between 1999 and 2004. Today, it offers more than just historical exhibits, with added attractions such as children's play areas, rides, and dining options, making it an engaging destination for visitors of all ages.
